In short: you're welcome to browse this website, read about our products, download Vendora POS and contact us. Please don't misuse the site or copy our content. Prices and details can change, so confirm them with us before you buy. This website doesn't use cookies, doesn't load anything from other companies, and doesn't store what you type in the contact form. Buying and using our products is covered by our separate Terms and Conditions.

1About these terms

These Website Terms of Use ("Website Terms") apply to your use of vendoradigitals.com and its pages (the "Website"). The Website is run by Vendora Digitals Limited (registration no. Bk8036Ci975B), a company based in Uganda ("Vendora", "we", "us" or "our").

By browsing or using the Website, you agree to these Website Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

These Website Terms cover only the Website itself. Buying, installing and using Vendora POS, Vendora School, the online dashboard, and our website and software development services are covered by our Terms and Conditions. If the two ever conflict about a product or service, the Terms and Conditions apply.

2Using this website

  1. You may view, read and print pages from the Website for your own information, for example to learn about our products or decide whether to buy them.
  2. The Website is free to use. You do not need an account to browse it.
  3. We try to keep the Website available at all times, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. We may change, pause or remove any part of the Website at any time.
  4. You are responsible for your own device, internet connection and data charges when using the Website.

3Information on this website

  1. The information on the Website is general information about Vendora and our products and services. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it may sometimes be incomplete or out of date.
  2. Screenshots, sample figures, product images and notifications shown on the Website are examples to show how our products work. They are not real customer data and are not a promise of any particular result for your business.
  3. Vendora School is in development. Descriptions of Vendora School show what we plan to build. Features may change before launch, and joining the waiting list does not create an obligation for either of us.
  4. Nothing on the Website is legal, tax or accounting advice.

4Prices and offers

  1. Prices shown on the Website are in Uganda Shillings (UGX) and are a guide. They may change without notice.
  2. A price or offer on the Website is an invitation to contact us, not a binding offer. The price you pay is the one confirmed in your written quotation, invoice or Order from Vendora.
  3. If we display a price by mistake, we are not required to sell at that price. We will tell you the correct price before you pay.
  4. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5Downloads

  1. The Website may offer the Vendora POS installers for Windows 10/11 and Windows 7/8/8.1. Downloading an installer from the Website is free, but installing and using Vendora POS is covered by the licence in our Terms and Conditions, including any fees.
  2. Download Vendora installers only from this Website or directly from the Vendora team. Installers shared by other people or other websites may be altered or unsafe, and we cannot support them.
  3. Before you install, make sure your computer meets the requirements for the edition you choose, and keep a backup of any important data on that computer.
  4. You must not copy, share, sell or upload our installers to other websites or file-sharing services.

6Contact form and WhatsApp

  1. The contact form on the Website does not send or store anything by itself. When you fill it in, your browser prepares a WhatsApp message to Vendora. Nothing is sent until you choose to open WhatsApp and press send.
  2. When you send us a message by WhatsApp, phone call or SMS, WhatsApp and your mobile network handle that message under their own terms and privacy policies.
  3. We use the details you send us (such as your name, phone number, business or school name and message) only to reply to you, give you a quote, arrange a demo, add you to a waiting list you asked to join, or provide the service you requested. We will not sell your details.
  4. Please give accurate details and do not send passwords, PINs or other sensitive information through the contact form or WhatsApp.

7Customer login and sample dashboard

  1. "Customer login" buttons on the Website take you to the Vendora online dashboard at monitor.vendoradigitals.com. Signing in and using the dashboard is covered by our Terms and Conditions.
  2. Any sample owner dashboard shown on the Website is a preview with example data only. It is not connected to any shop and does not show real sales, stock or cash.

8Your privacy on this website

  1. The Website does not use cookies, tracking or advertising tools, and does not ask you to create an account. It only remembers, in your own browser, that you closed the privacy notice.
  2. The Website loads all of its pages, fonts and images from vendoradigitals.com itself. Opening it does not send your information to Google or any other third party.
  3. The Website has no user accounts and no database. What you type into the contact form stays on your own device until you choose to send it by WhatsApp, so other visitors can never see your details, and you can never see theirs. The sample dashboard shows the same example data to everyone and is not connected to any real shop.
  4. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the Website secure and working.
  5. We handle personal information in line with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us using the details in section 15. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.

9Acceptable use

When using the Website, you agree not to:

  • break any law of Uganda or use the Website for fraud or any unlawful purpose;
  • try to hack, break into, overload or disrupt the Website, its hosting, or any Vendora system;
  • upload or spread viruses or other harmful code;
  • use automated tools to copy or collect content or contact details from the Website in bulk;
  • pretend to be Vendora or a Vendora staff member, or use our name or logo to mislead anyone; or
  • send us false, abusive or spam messages through the contact form, WhatsApp or phone numbers on the Website.

Watch out for scams: Vendora will never ask you for your PIN or Mobile Money PIN. If someone claiming to be from Vendora asks you to pay to a number other than one we confirm in writing, call us first on 0744 683 189.

10Intellectual property

Vendora owns, or has permission to use, all content on the Website, including its text, design, graphics, screenshots, the Vendora Digitals, Vendora POS and Vendora School names, and the Vendora logo. You may share links to the Website, but you must not copy, change, republish or sell any of its content, or use our names or logo, without our written permission. Fonts and icons from other creators are used under their open licences, listed in our credits.

11Links to other websites

The Website links to services we do not control, such as WhatsApp. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Vendora is not responsible for their content, availability or how they use your information.

12Limitation of liability

  1. Nothing in these Website Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ugandan law, including liability for fraud.
  2. The Website is provided "as it is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Website or its information is complete, accurate, secure or free from viruses.
  3. Vendora is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, or from relying on information on it, to the extent the law allows. You should use up-to-date antivirus software and confirm important details with us directly.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Website Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. If you continue using the Website after a change, the updated Website Terms apply.

14Governing law

These Website Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. If a dispute arises, we will first try to settle it in good faith by discussion. If it is not settled, it may be referred to the courts of Uganda.
